Buy a purpose-built hard case to store the stylus and screen (there are several very reasonably priced cases available) - it doesn't fit well in a tablet or laptop case and the screen is worth protecting. Like its predecessor, to which the Pro is almost identical, this line of tablets looks the business.

For instance, there are settings for 1 finger touch, 2 finger, 3, 4 and 5!I don't really find there to be a big problem with the USB plug into the tablet, especially since the battery holds such a long charge that I very rarely have to plug it in to charge it. I love that you can set nearly everything to do a certain task/keystroke/action. The driver software is easy to install, and playing with the settings is particularly intuitive. I went with the small to be economical, but I'm glad that's the size I went with because the work space is perfect for me. I bought the Intuos Pro Small after a lot of research.

I can't grasp how hard some must have to press to wear down the nibs as fast as they claim. Granted, I have a light hand, and set the pressure sensitivity to a softer touch. If it's there, it's minimal. I've been using this tablet daily for about a month and I don't notice any wear on the nib at all.

All of these resulted in the same problem. I went through three phone calls with Wacom technical support through which I was guided to reinstall the driver, reinstall it with my antivirus turned off, and reinstall it in Safe Mode. No touch and the pen only worked like a mouse (no pressure sensitivity/angle). NOTE: I AM USING WINDOWS 8.1 When the tablet first started up, and right after a PC restart, the tablet performed wonderfully, but after attempting to resume use after a tablet power down, the tablet would not function.

SO, I removed all of that software, downloaded the free Classic Shell software (it also gives you back the Start button/menu like earlier versions of Windows) and so far it seems the tablet is still working and there's no conflict there. Even the Stardock software that has nothing to do with affecting Windows 8 conflicts with the tablet, and I mean just by having it installed, not running. How I wish Wacom support would have known of that conflict because it would have saved me two days of painfully reinstalling everything. Long story short, my beloved Stardock Object Desktop software suite, which includes Start8 (it forces Windows 8 to behave like 7), was the problem.

The pen's level of sensitivity and accuracy for photo editing in Photoshop is great! I mostly use it for retouching photos and it has sped up my workflow quite a bit.My favorite feature would probably have to be its hybrid wireless design, I love being able to let it charge while connected to my PC, or just disconnect it and use it wherever I please, such as on any area on my desk or even on my lap.Overall a great tablet for the price. This version with touch enabled, as well as the hybrid wireless design has proved to be extremely useful.Being able to use the surface as a trackpad and manipulate 3D models with the pen and or my fingers is extremely useful when trying to make certain adjustments. The usability of it, for me changed dramatically. Months later I decided to give Wacom another go and picked up a touch version. Originally I had tried out a smaller non-touch version of a Wacom tablet and found that it wasn't as useful as I'd thought it would be.

I spent hours on the phone with customer service and researching the issue online. I would have to close the menu and then try to draw really fast before the menu popped up. But the biggest gripe I have is that when I initially started using it, it did this weird thing where if I didn't draw fast enough (less than 1 second), some weird menu would pop up automatically, preventing me from drawing. There are SOOOOO many settings that I still have yet to learn. In general, digital arts is almost impossible without a tool like this (well, assuming you want to achieve some decent level of proficiency in the subject).But the only issue I have with this product is that it is SUPER complicated to use.

In the end I was able to shut it off finally (I don't even remember how anymore) but I cant believe it took that long to figure out something so ridiculous.
